X (Twitter) Timeline

What this notice covers

The homepage of codeofvets.com embeds a live public timeline from the official Code of Vets account on X (formerly Twitter) using X's standard embedded timeline widget (widgets.js), provided by X Corp. This notice explains what that means for visitors.

What the X widget does

When you visit the homepage, your browser loads X's widgets.js script directly from X's servers. This causes X's servers to receive standard request data — including your IP address and browser information — and X may set cookies in your browser. This happens as a direct result of your browser contacting X's servers to fetch the widget, not because Code of Vets sends your data to X.

The widget is governed by X's Privacy Policy. Code of Vets does not receive, store, or have access to any data that X collects through this widget.

Why we use it

The widget displays our public posts so visitors can see our latest updates without leaving the site. It is not used for advertising, behavioral tracking, or any purpose other than showing our own public content. Code of Vets does not run Google Analytics, advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or any other optional tracking technology.

Your options

If you prefer not to load X's widget, you can view our posts directly at x.com/codeofvets. You may also block third-party scripts using your browser's built-in settings or a content blocker such as uBlock Origin; the rest of this site will continue to function normally. If the widget is blocked or X is unavailable, the homepage will display a fallback card with a direct link to our X profile.
